Magpies Looking For New Recruits in Galway

Ireland's newest Aussie Rules Club,
the Midwest Magpies are now recruiting players in Galway City and
County. The club was actually formed in 2009 by Aiden Cunningham,
Eoin Budds and Ray Colleran but have now begun recruiting in
earnest for the 2010 Premiership season.

Swans Announce 2nd Open Day 2pm March 21st

After the success of their first Open Day which was attended by a
good number of newcomers despite snow the night before and freezing
conditions on the day, the South Dublin Swans are
following up with their second Open Day, coming up on Sunday week,
2pm March 21st.

Draw Takes Place For Inaugural Draft Cup

The Player draw for the inaugural Smats.net ARFLI Draft Cup took
place on Saturday last following an introductory run of players at
St.Davids College. Three teams were drawn for the competition which
will commence on March 27th. The sides will be Team A will have
David Scott as Captain/Coach, Team B will be coached by Shaun
Saurin and Team C will have Damian Kruger as Captain/Coach. As new

Melbourne Comedy Festival Sneak Peak in Dublin

Melbourne International Comedy Festival from the 25th March to 18th
April. Damo's Modern Life, is about Damo's move from Melbourne to
Ireland and it should provide bags of entertainment for anyone
whose made the move either direction.
The Show Previews in Dublin between the 3rd and 6th of March
upstairs at the International Bar in Dublin with a €5 entry
fee.
